We have received another reminder from Inverclyde Leisure Management
that parents and guardians of our swimmers should not park in the
loading bay at the Waterfront.
On occasion, vehicles parked here have blocked off escape routes from
fire exits, made it difficult for people with disability to enter and
exit and limited access for emergency vehicles and refuse removal
IL management appreciates that not all vehicles parked here belong to
parents or guardians of IASC swimmers. However, all users of the
facility are being contacted in order to keep the loading bay clear..
If you are staying to spectate at an IASC training session or use the
Waterfront facilities yourself, please use the car park between the
Waterfront and Cinema or the retail park across the road.
Healthy eating tips to support swimmers training can be viewed on the members page.
Please note that when silver are invited to any Sunday long course sessions at Tollcross, they have a choice to do either long course at Tollcross or else normal Sunday night at waterfront (not both). When silver and gold are training on Saturdays long course at East Kilbride, they do not have a choice, the waterfront session is not available as an alternative. When top bronze are invited to any long course session, they should do these instead of mini league or bronze sessions at the waterfront if they clash.
(For those who have children in different squads and may struggle to get them to sessions, please speak to Shirley.
